It's a transparent ploy (on par with "what if elves were the savages and orcs the superintelligent superhumans"), but I use it often. <br />You pick one out of the four. A single teacher knows the entire style. The techniques are in groups of four to allow you to devote yourself to a style as part of normal leveling, or mix and match as pleases you.<br />Yes, with 60,000 XP and almost two years of non-stop training, not counting the time to collect the treasure and track down the teachers, you could learn every technique listed here.
